Lucrative Math Tutoring Positions for College Students.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree (or working towards one) preferably in math or a related field (e.g. Physics, Engineering, Accounting, etc.)
– We also welcome competent Senior year High School students to apply.
– Aptitude to work and teach math concepts to students from 1st to 12th grade.
– Must be fluent in elementary, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra I & II, geometry, trigonometry. Fluency in calculus and statistics being a plus.
– Excellent communication skills, with a sense of humor and an upbeat attitude.
– An Open mind to learn and implement new methods.
– Committed, reliable and passionate about working with children
– Clean background check
– Prior teaching experience a plus
Responsibilities:
– Explaining and illustrating math topics.
– Interacting and motivating students during the instruction hour.
– Evaluating and rewarding student progress.
– Consulting the parents regarding the progress of students.
